Sapori means "Flavor or taste" in Italian. Chef Donato Loperfido is well known for his delicious Italian cuisine.
Born in Puglia, Italy, Chef Donato was Executive Chef at Sarento’s in Hawaii after beginning his culinary career in New York. His former restaurants Donato’s Ristorante in Kahala and Donato’s Restaurant in Manoa, were widely acclaimed he also had a great following at Pasta/Basta in restaurant row. Sapori is his newest venture bringing small plate cusine to the former location of Elua.
Fashioned after the concept of an Italian Enoteca we offer a diverse menu of small plates designed to share, featuring the freshest local ingredients. We offer 24 wines by the glass stored in our specially designed cruvinet system that holds magnums. We have an extensive beer menu featuring small batch handcrafted - highly rated beers. We offer daily wine flights. We now offer lunch on Fridays at 11am
