2009 Long Island Zagat Survey Rates Piccolo with 26 in "Food," 21 in "Decor," and 24 in "Service".
Customers crave the "stellar" dishes on the "inventive" New American-Italian menu accompanied by a "surprising wine list" at this "warm, inviting" Huntington "favorite" with a "fantastic" staff that makes "you feel like you're being served by friends"; a piano player (Sunday-Thursday) "adds a nice touch" to the "expensive" meal, which is so "transporting", "reservations are a must."
Also received the "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator in 2008.
